Clean sheet for West Indies

West Indies beat Italy by 42 runs in their last group stage match of the T20 Cricket World Cup in Kolkata, India yesterday to move into the Super Eights with an unbeaten record.

Italy did well to restrict West Indies to 165 for 6 in the 20 overs, but could not make headway and were bowled out for 123 in 18 overs.

The West Indies bowling pair of Shamar Joseph and Matthew Ford were took much in their pace as the duo accounted for seven wickets to do most of the damage.

Batting first Shai Hope top scored for the West Indies with 75 that had six fours and four sixes.
